I have stuff other than BBC Sherlock that I will submit... I just have to find them.. Really!
What did you all think of the last 2 episodes?
S2Ep1 was good on character development I thought... I didn't really like that they turned Adler into a hoe-bag, but apparently having an affair with just one member of royalty isn't enough of a shocker anymore... And isn't Irene supposed to get away with the photo without sherlock getting his hands on it first? I think we all saw the molly scene coming... Hey Moffat- Is Molly a metaphor for Fanfic Mary-Sue's? Kudos on keeping Sherlock's essence pure, I hate when he gets Romanticized. He's like Spock, you can't change the character and be serious about it...
Yeah sorry, I guess I should look for those other pictures to submit, huh?
Hi, I have finished reading the Giant Rat of Sumatra. I must say, it was horribly exciting. xD At the end I didn't dare to lay it down and read far into the night. So it certainly was drawing me in! Boyer didn't really... copy Doyle's style of writing, I felt, but even though the way of telling everything was different Boyer still knows how to tell a mystery. xD As I said it's very interesting the whole way through and there is lots of tension building up to the climax. I was wondering if there isn't a bit to much of conclusion afterwards, in which Holmes explains everything but... it was well deserved. What I like about this especially is how the relationship of Holmes' and Watson's is made so wonderfully clear and that felt very much like Doyle's idea of it. What I do not understand though is why the world shouldn't have been ready to hear this... looking at it now, it's not much different to other cases Holmes encountered. ... Anyway, should you be able to, read this. It's great! I have not yet read any other versions of the Giant Rat but I like this a lot and ... actually I might leave it with that. xD I think I accepted that as canon now... hahaha.
I'll read The Whitechapel Horrors by Edward. B. Hanna now. And then I shall see if I can find that Angel of the Opera book.
Thank you so much for favoriting my Sherlock Holmes piece ([link])! I've watched it twice over already and now, I'm working on a few more works *o*. The game's afoot!
