Those who know me know that my best friend is the Tissue box, preferably the Kleenex brand. I use so much I could probably be a CEO of the company, if not spokesman.

I was really sick last week with a cold, and pretty much couldn't do anything besides blow my brains out and feel sorry for myself; plus, I was so loopy from the cold medicine I was delirious. I think thats where this idea spawned from... Antihistamines and acetaminophen. Watch out!

I made it out of spare popsicle sticks mostly, and some woodscraps we had laying around. All the cuts were made by hand using a box cutter.. I tried using the Dremel, but it did more burning of the wood than cutting. I think cutting was the most time consuming part of the whole project.
I'm big into making something cool out of junk or scraps, so the light on top is the cap that they put over the nozzle of the hairspray, and inside is a gold foil wrapper from a chocolate bar I finished yesterday.

I was going to use wood putty and fill in the cracks but I couldn't find it... I spray painted it and then did the details with acrylic paints, then finally I put the fliers and the sign on the Tardis' Door.

I'm just glad to have all those wood shavings off of my desk so I can finally Vacuum properly!

Might I suggest either using popsicle sticks with squared off edges or just going to the hardware store and getting a thin sheet of wood (like wainscot)
That would make it much easier I think.
